Effective as of July 2006...

To all Future and Past hosted clients:

There have been many changes in our business since it started in 2000.  My goal, and the goal of numerous associates who have partnered with me, has always been to provide outstanding web design, graphic design, photography, and videography for our clients.  Recently, RyDesign.com has entered an alliance with Hostway.com.  This will allow current and future RyDesign.com clients to receive the support they deserve with a company that is focused on web hosting.  To find out more go to: http://rydesign.hostway.com .

Hosting of Internet sites has been a part of the normal fulfillment of the business, but unfortunately the industry has dramatically changed and the customer service demands and maintenance protocols have evolved to the point that RyDesign.com will no longer provide it without sacrificing or diverting attention from its primary design prerogatives.  This past quarter the breakdown of hours has been 90% IT support to only 10% design.  

As of December 31, 2006, hosting and related hardware, software, and IT web consulting services will no longer be managed or operated by RyDesign.com.  We will only be accepting design projects for either print or Internet formats.  Current sites hosted through RyDesign.com will be backed up and delivered priority mail the first two weeks of August 2006.  The last backup will be July 28, 2006 at 7:00PM EST.  There will be no charge for this backup sent.  Any additional copies of sites will need to be requested via email and a minimal charge of $15.00 will incur.  Any asp.NET application licenses will be delivered via email to the contact person on the account.  Any database content must be backed up by the client.  

RyDesign.com will not be responsible for uploading of content to new web servers.  Hostway.com has support archives and tech support representatives available for aid in setting up your site online.
